State Level Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy Park
Gurgaon, Haryana

The Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) has set up a State Level Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy Park (RGREP) at Leisure Valley, City Centre, Sector-29, Gurgaon with an objective to create awareness among the different sections of society (general public, corporate, academics, students, government agencies and non- governmental organizations etc) about Renewable Energy, Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency & Climate Change related areas. These technologies are being demonstrated through state of the art working models, exhibits & devices costing over Rs. 2.00 crores. The park is expected to serve as a platform for bringing together players (both from within and outside India) interested in these domains.

              

      

Activities and Initiatives

• Capacity building, awareness building and educating citizens & students on energy efficiency, climate mitigation including demonstration of various clean technologies, gadgets and training on impacts of climate change and necessity to contribute to climate mitigation.

• Enabling industries to adopt newer and cleaner technologies, gain energy efficiencies and designing and implementing a sustainable development strategy.

• Enable corporate houses to become climate and environment responsible by helping them devise CSR strategies focused on renewable energy areas and help implement the same.

• Creating a market place to bring together Indian industries based in Gurgaon and also other parts of India  and international technology and solution providers.

• Provide a platform for technology innovators to find market, investors and support from national and international agencies.
